Entertaiment
The experience of being entertained is strongly related to leisure and has been at the heart of many forms of entertainment. From simple pleasures like listening to music or watching TV to more elaborate performances that are televised for the world to see, entertainment has evolved to suit all types of people and audiences. It is also important to entertain ourselves, as it helps us to unwind and recharge our batteries after a hard day at work or school. Some entertainments have a very serious purpose, such as public execution or religious pageantry. But some also have a very low-brow aim, such as satire or a laugh and laughter.
